I’ve never been a big fan of artists who just draw gore because they’re willing to draw it.

I have nothing against them personally, but I just think there’s something better about art when it’s drawn authentically. If you’re legitimately into drawing the content you’re drawing, then that to me is awesome.

People who just kinda sell the service because they can tap into a market that will make them more money though?

Are hanging and decapitation in the top 10?

Decapitation is not really my thing. I like the bodies of characters intact.

Hanging can be “okay”.

Most of the art I see of it is pretty tacky though, so it never really gets me wanting to draw it.

Not a fan of boobs and dicks on the same character. For some reason I can’t even appreciate art like that. Like, yea it might be drawn well, but that whole concept as a whole is just a huge turn off for me. Not a fan.

Something you guys don’t know about me…

Hmm.

I think art is addicting. Let me explain.

I’ve done weed, and in some cases I continue to do so. Art, however, provides a sort of dopamine rush that I think is way more addicting than the kind I get whenever I’m under any sort of influence.

If you’ve ever received gift art from me out of random, it is probably because of this. If I find a character attractive enough, and I feel like for some reason that I want to seek someones approval, I’ll ask them if it’s alright to draw their character.

It feels entirely selfish. I know they’ll enjoy the picture I draw, so it’s kinda a win-win situation. At the same time though, I feel like it can be a problem. So far it hasn’t really presented any issues beyond my showering someone in art of their characters, but I’ve often thought about why I do it in the first place.

Sometimes I feel like it might be because I never truly fit in as a kid in school or something. So in order to find acceptance from my peers, I just do the one thing I know they’ll probably like. So as a direct result, I constantly doubt my personality has anything to wow anyone.

When I got this ask for #100, I sat there and thought about something that you all don’t know about me, and this is it tbh. The fact that this is the only thing I think I haven’t actually ever told anyone goes to show how much I doubt my own personality, to doubt it so much that I think there’s nothing of any hidden interest beyond the sort of insecurity I have about it.

Thanks dude! It’s a bit nerve racking, but I think it’s really going to change things. A couple of good things have happened recently in regards to my work, so this office is kinda giving me a bit of a boost of confidence!

I’m gonna be buying a rug for it and then moving all of my equipment over probably this up coming week. The office is already mine, however, I do wan to lay a rug down to damped the sound in the room a bit. After that I’ll invest in proper sound absorption.
