still, there are people like me that has that much art experience, going to art schools, and still give out a lower price than that of just a sketch, highest I'd pay for a 5 min rough sketch would be $10, clean sketch $15, and from there, it goes up, just a suggestion :)
Commission prices aren’t determined by a competitive market like wages are. As it stands, my prices feel good for the quality of art I make.

You’re paying for my 10 years of drawing experience.
Not my assumed 5 minutes of labor.
If you don’t want to pay the prices I set for commissions, then you can find someone else to commission.
As proven by my last anon, there are people who will be willing to pay $20 for a sketch.

I don’t know who you are, so I don’t get your whole checking skype thing.
As for starting low on prices, I’m gonna tell you right now that really low prices probably aren’t going to happen. I take my time very seriously and if I’m gonna be doing commissioned art work in the future, then I want to make sure that it is worth my time.
I’ll find out what to charge. I’ve done commissions in the past and have charged moderately good rates even then.
Now I’ve gotten better, and my time is becoming less in abundance.
So I’ll formulate prices.

I’m not sure yet. I’ve been thinking on that recently though.
It would be fun to draw whatever ideas my followers have here. I think that would be a lot of fun.

In anycase, I’m still gauging what prices would be.
I don’t want to undersell myself.
Her lifeless frame layed sprawled on the ground. You watched as her body twitched ever so slightly, leaking out what modicum of life her limps had left.
You simply couldn’t resist yourself anon. Your overwhelming lust started to take over you. Through those darkly tinted glasses of yours, as if to hide your own shame (not that you felt any), you started to make your way to her lifeless legs.
You tug and you pull at her soft and silky long socks. The friction between her hooves and the soft cotton wove socks seeming to present no amount of resistance whatsoever.
Her legs lifted slightly as you tilted your head and tugged, one of her socks slipping away from her hoof as it plunged lifelessly to the ground, the empty space that surrounded you echoed with the weight of her hoof hitting the ground.
You kept pulling onto the last remaining piece of hoof apparel.
Reaching it’s end you pull more slowly.
Savoring every moment.
And conjuring your thoughts.
You were only just beginning.
And your excitement couldn’t be anymore through the roof.
