Joking aside, Attack On Titan has lost most if not all of it’s appeal to me since the shows initial release. I’ve never had much interest in reading the comics either.

So suffice to say that you probably won’t be seeing much of that kind of art here.

I did draw one pony/attack on titan cross over pic, but it’s probably not what you’re looking for.

I’d start off by paying attention to line art. That’s where all of your dynamics are enforced. Whether you’re using them to enforce the entire foundation of the picture, or you’re using them as a basis for your painting style, I think getting your line art to look as heavy as possible is the key to having a heavy and dynamic style.

There are very small details that you can apply to line art that would make or break the feel of a particular pose. This can even be applied to a micro scale when it comes to limb placement.

Enforcing the effects of gravity on a character is so important to getting them to look right. They are after all big bags of water. You need to envision it that way.

Unless they’re made of rocks.

In which case a whole different set of rules apply.

But I digress.
