deadrunespark asked:
Dont ya have any drawins of nexx being the dead one?
Nope. I don’t think being dead suits Nexx’s personality too much lol.

Have you seen the pony age of empires animations? Lots of fallen ponies in them. You might like it.
It’s funny you should mention that, because I’ve revisited one of those videos recently. The 2nd one is one of my favorites, only because of that Pegasus that gets impaled on that spear.
A long time ago, I actually did some drawings based on though videos. They were some of my first public grim-dark pieces. If you look up the artist tag dBPony on derpibooru, you may be able to find them.
I was thinking about doing new renditions of those pones though.
nightsong-veil asked:
Oh wow. That is magnificent. Such a beautiful collection of trophies. Anyway, the ask: Does Nexx have any way to preserve all these bodies, magical or otherwise, or will he just have to enjoy all of them within 72 hours or so? If he can pull that off, it's be rather impressive...
Well, Nexx doesn’t have any preservation methods, but Silver Scalpel does.
I’ve still been wondering whether or not to keep them in the same universe, or to make Silver Scalpel his own universe to frolic in.
He has all sorts of spells and injections that he uses on corpses to preserve them.
His morgue is like a sick fuck doll shop.
Welp, here it is. I’ll bet you all recognize this.
This is the Nexx body pile picture that I had auctioned off towards the end of October.
This picture was a WAY bigger undertaking than I had previously thought, given so much of the stuff that started happening around the holiday season. I also started taking up more work to keep up with my bills, taking time away from this.
Since moving out to Oklahoma in January, however, I’ve finally gotten the time to bust this out. It took a lot of work, time, and effort, but here we are.
I want to thank all of the people who participated in this picture. Your support, and patience is appreciated beyond any words I can muster. I just hope that you all find that the wait was worth it.
Now with that out of the way, this is Nexx doing what he does best. Some methods of death are obvious, others can be left up to interpretation.
As for the vault he’s in, I haven’t really decided on a number. Maybe you can all speculate on that as well.
I’m actually super proud of how this turned out. This is, next to my last Macro picture, one of the bigger picture projects I’ve undertaken, and it couldn’t have happened without all of your support.
Thank you all again.
Hope you enjoy the result of this piece!
It’s become clear that there are people that want to do nothing but abuse it.
I apologize to those of you who didn’t.

Didn't you just say you had to take on a part time job to make ends meet? So... you're not financially sound :v just saying! Also, what do you mean by "no thanks to people like you"? Are you angry that people don't like the killing and the murder and the rape art? Sounds like it? I still think you're crazy. I mean, can you honestly 100% tell us that you won't be turned on by a real life corpse or dead person?
No, that’s not what I said at all.
I do audio work, and art work from home. When I said I had to take on additional work to makes ends meet, I meant additional art work. So you’re misunderstanding me, like most of the people who try to criticize me do.
And by “People like you” I’m talking about the spineless folk who just message me with nothing but antagonizing messages, criticizing me for the artistic direction I take with my art.
I’m not angry that there are people that don’t like my art. That’s natural, and those people avoid my blog. I respect that.
What I am annoyed with, however, are people like you who have nothing else better to do with their time but message me behind a faceless anon ask, call me crazy, and make ridiculous accusations against me without knowing an inch of my personality.
Just saying! :V

You know, I don’t know where people like you get off thinking they know every detail about my financial well-being.
You act as if the Patreon money is my only source of income.
Well, here’s a news flash for you.
Aside from the Patreon money I get every month (and $400 is a lot all things considered), I also take commissions. Commissions next to my Patreon income definitely add up to well over $400 a month. I’m not disclosing those figures though, because honestly it’s none of your damn business what I make and what I don’t make.
Second, I don’t know if you specifically know this or not, but I’m an audio engineer, and surprise surprise, I do work for that on the side too.
And guess what.
It pays money.
So not only am I making money doing what I love with drawing, but I’m also doing audio work on the side for some very talented individuals whom pay me to do it.
So I have my financial bases covered.
As far as your crudely presented advice on expanding my audience and “Less Bitching”, I have every right to vent off my frustrations with serving a niche. What gives you the right to tell me what to do or not do? I have a fan base that’s more than understanding whenever I need to vent, and in the end they help me realize that I’m doing something incredibly unique for a niche community that is drastically under-served.
I take a lot of pride in that, and no amount of aggression from people like you could ever stop me from realizing that fact.
Also, I do run other art blogs on the side that do very well for themselves outside of the AmazinArts channel. I am also planning on setting up another channel for more art that is accessible to other viewers who aren’t into the Grim-Dark aspect, but that’s no thanks to people like you.
So TL;DR, and FYI, I make enough money through my freelance endeavors to support myself so thank you for your concern, and no, I won’t stop bitching and doing the things that I love.
If you were any true fan of mine, you’d understand this.
Have a good day.
So a friend of mine wanted to draw pony ass, and he’s sort of just starting out. I’ve held out on ever really doing tutorials, but for his sake I figured I would explain to him a method I’ve come to know as The Heart Method.
It’s pretty self explanatory, but over time, I’ve come to find that artists tend to follow this particular pattern, and it’s so easy to execute, that I figured I’d demonstrate in a quick tutorial how to do it.
After making this, I decided to post it here for all of you, since there really is no point in keeping this for just a few people.
This isn’t by any means the correct way of drawing pony ass, but it is the easiest way to get a quick drawing out. It’s also not my best work, but for the sake of demonstration, it’ll have to do.
Also, I used a pony in this example, but if you learn how to execute human/anthro anatomy, you can apply this method to just about any type of species.
I hope you all enjoy this quick little tutorial!
For those who missed it!
