I would suggest that if it’s going to be too much for you that you just don’t read it. As much as I’d like this story to appeal to everyone, it is going to definitely not sit well with some folk. 

I understand the nature of what I’m creating with Private Fluster’s story, which is why I’m taking the research into what I’m doing quite seriously. This story is not going to be a happy one. 

Private Fluster is going to lead a very fucked up life. It’s going to be a mix of very heavy emotions, and while I’m writing parts of this story to arouse some very exotic fantasies, the reality of the world that he’s going to be living in will stand up next to all the realities of war. 

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for this, but honestly if you think that you won’t be able to enjoy what takes place in this story because it hits close to something personal for you, then I’d just place it safe and not participate in it.
