So a little story about my name, Amazin-Arts.

I’m sure some of you have heard this story before, but I’m just gonna post it up anyway since I’m sure some of you wonder why I decided to choose a name that sounds as conceited as Amazin-Arts.

So back when I was doing my music thing under the name dBPony, I started to gather an interest in drawing some explicit art. I was drawing all the art for my music videos and my channel art at the time, so I wanted to have a blog where I can post up explicit work without subjecting my dBPony fan base to it.

So I decided to create an NSFW blog. I couldn’t find a proper name for it, so I wound up just putting in silly names to come up with something. The name AMAZING-NSFW wasn’t taken to my amazement, so I decided to go for that.

It was my first NSFW blog, and I wanted to design a banner for it. I got insanely lazy however, so I decided to just put up a picture of rainbows in the background, and google the word “AMAZING!” for a proper banner. It was mostly a joke at the time, but I ran with it for the sake of having an NSFW blog.

Everyone knew at the time that I was the one running the blog, so people just called my dBPony regardless, contributing to the fact that the blog name was meant to be nothing more than a joke.

Welp, long story short, I got really sad one night, and unreasonably stoned. The blog at the time had about 1,100 followers, so it was actually doing fairly well. I decided to delete the blog out of a depressive drive however, and that was the end of AMAZING-NSFW.

About a year later, I wanted to create another blog for my explicit works, because again, now I didn’t have anyplace to post it. This time, I wanted to create a blog for something a little more than just my regular vanilla work. I wanted to create something that I can post up my grim-dark work and give everyone with that similar interest a bit of a safe space to express and delve into that fetish freely without any prejudice.

I serve a very particular niche, and this blog was built upon that as a foundation. It’ll always be that way, regardless of how many other fetish works I present here.

Anyway, I decided I wanted to try and get my old name back, and to my prediction, the name was taken, and used for a blank page simply because someone wanted the URL. So I took out the G, and placed arts at the end of the name, resulting in Amazin-Arts.

I didn’t choose the name because I think I’m full of myself, and I never intend for the name to come across that way. Sometimes I wonder if I cripple my audience because of the my name, but thinking on that is kinda pointless.

I’m sure people know of my true nature towards my work and my fans, and trust me when I say I would never loose sight of that.

Anyway, that’s the story behind the name. Not a very entertaining one, but I figured y’all should know.
