You want to know something?

That doesn’t change. 

Not even if you have more artistic talent in one finger than the best artist. 

You will always feel that it is difficult to approach artists EVEN if you’re talented yourself. 

How many artists do you see me talking to? 

I talk to some, but when compared to the rest of everyone here, I may as well be the odd one out because again, who associates with my art if not in secret?

Anyway, it never gets easier. 

Which is why I try to reach out to my fans, because what I do requires my attention to detail. 

Every bit of input is so important. 

That’s why I reach out to fans, invite them to discord, and whatever. 

It provides me with direct feedback, and it’s also nice to have people to talk to about the things I enjoy for once.

I always talk to friends privately about how awesome it would be to form a community with people into this stuff, just to get it more frequent within other artist communities, but eh that’s a pipe dream at this point.

I think that’s also called putting all of your eggs in one basket, which I don’t plan to do.
