So a friend of mine wanted to draw pony ass, and he’s sort of just starting out. I’ve held out on ever really doing tutorials, but for his sake I figured I would explain to him a method I’ve come to know as The Heart Method.

It’s pretty self explanatory, but over time, I’ve come to find that artists tend to follow this particular pattern, and it’s so easy to execute, that I figured I’d demonstrate in a quick tutorial how to do it. 

After making this, I decided to post it here for all of you, since there really is no point in keeping this for just a few people. 

This isn’t by any means the correct way of drawing pony ass, but it is the easiest way to get a quick drawing out. It’s also not my best work, but for the sake of demonstration, it’ll have to do.   

Also, I used a pony in this example, but if you learn how to execute human/anthro anatomy, you can apply this method to just about any type of species.
